How many bikes have airbags?

Wonder how they are supposed to save your life, or your passengers?

The GL1800 Gold Wing has one.  Deployed, it looks like a big butt.  It's designed for the rider,  as the passenger doesn't face the same hazards (hitting the windshield,etc.).

There is "air bag clothing"  for motorcyclists that has been tested and marketed in Europe.   I assume it is available in US.

None in production, but yes one of the concept bikes in 2006 geneva motor show, it was there..

I know that the 2006 Honda Gold Wing motorcycle have them.
