Buckle up before driving ??

We just had a recent tragic in our hometown where a young 17 yr old died because she did not wear her seatbelt and was driving too fast.

She was way too young for this end of her life. She was a beautiful and talented young lady was nice to everyone she came in contact with and made positive things out of negative things. She will be missed greatly by the friends she made and touched the hearts of others around.

Candice, We love you !

  1. yes you should bukle your seatbelt when your driving

  2. i always do now.  Ive been in an accident where i ran down the highway, didnt have a seat belt on, but luckily all i got were scratches and muscle cramps.  But now i always do, if youve ever been in a fender bender where you get hit in the rear, youll realise how much a seat belt helps.  A little bump on your trunk can slam your head into the steering wheel.  now imagine a bigger accident.

  3. I buckle up everytime now. I'm kinda ocd about it with my friends too. Because I lost a friend in a accident who didn't buckle up.

  4. That is sad.

I always buckle up before putting the car in drive, and I ensure that my passengers are buckled up as well before the car moves.

When I was a nanny, I spent a lot of my day sitting on the side of the road, or in random parking lots, because one of the girls (she was 7) I nannied insisted on taking off her seatbelt.  She would do it when the car was in motion, so I would pull over until she put it back on.  A 1/2 mile trip could take us all day....

  5. I use my belt all the time ,is very important

  6. That is such a sad thing.  I always use seat belts, and insist my passengers do the same.  I've known several young kids that were killed in accidents, not wearing belts.  It's such an easy thing to do, and yet so many people don't use them.  Sorry for your loss.  Such a young life cut short way too soon.  Our hearts, thoughts, prayers go out to you.

  7. i feel reall uncomfortable and not safe when i dont wear it!

  8. I always buckle up but this young woman may have died even with seat belts as she was speeding. seat belts help but they are no guarantee
