How many people wear eyelgasses?

I was wondering if anyone knew how many people in Canada wear eyeglasses, or what percentage of the general population is in need of corrective lenses?

It's simple math.

Set P equal to the population of Canada.

Set N equal to the number of people who don't wear glasses.

G, the number of people who wear glasses,

G = P - N

i wear them (glasses), but i live in the u.s.

me and my daughter wear them in my household and both of us are nearsighted.  My husband has pretty darn close to perfect vision.
