How much do ads influence people?

I'd really like a percentage to this if possible and where you got it. Do they affect you?

Try counting the prior Marlboro illustrated 'cowboys'

now pushing up pasture turf after indulging in ad content

too frequently.  Talk about a hard sell job to somebody

who bought the farm.
