  1. You don't technically need a degree in Aerospace to design aircraft. My degree is in Electrical Engineering and I design aircrafts for a living and so do mechanical, structural, computer engineers and petroleum engineers also chemist.

I work for the government and right out of college your base pay is $40,000 gross and your locality pay (which is for the area you if in) is $10,000 so total it's $50,000 gross. After taxes and insurance I net around $36,000. But it differs from state to state.

  2. There is no degree as plane engineer. it is only aeronautical engineer . and their pay scale depends on their performence in college, experience and many other things.

    generaly

    in gverment sector 20,000 to1,00,000

in private sector 1,50,000 to 4,00,000

    I am Aero eng. student

  3. Plane engineers proper title is Flight Engineers.
