  1. All the ones I've seen are around in 1000-2000

  2. It depends. Hyacinth Macaws can be prices up to $10,000. You seem pretty inexperienced. You can't just decide one day to go buy a parrot. It costs ALOT.They need a roomy cage,a varied diet consiting of color-free pelleted bird food supplemented with fruits, veggies, and seed(or nuts if the parrot is large).  heir cage has to be cleaned etc etc. I would highly reccomend a parakeet or a cockatiel. Both are excellent starter parrots.  Go to the pet store when you can and buy a book on cockatiel or parakeet care.

  3. 650 sometimes more or sometimes less.

    the least is about 440

  4. Make sure you never have an impulse to buy one as they can live for almost 100 years and they demand alot and I mean alot of attention and if they do not recieve attention it will result in feather plucking which is very hard to stop. ( http://www.animalpets.org/pictures/SNOWY... )

Parrots are very different to smaller birds and you should get them from breeders not local stores.

It is better to get them later then get the wrong one straight away.

The good parrots range from about $500 upwards and if you get the right stuff for them it will at least cost $1000 dollars for the cage as it has to be at least... this big maybe ( http://www.freewebs.com/birdcages/chrome... ) depending on the size of the bird.

Sorry if I kind of sounded mean there...I sounded mean to myself...

    Hope I helped..

  5. Checkout this popular site for bird breeders in your home town. www.kijiji.com

Browse around to see whats available and prices will vary from one breeder to another. Always pay them a visit and negotiate on the price.

  6. It depends...usually about $20

  7. Depends on the type of parrot.

    Petco or Petsmart

  8. depends if this is your first bird i would recomend a finch, budgie, lovebird or a cockatiel. the cheapest would be the finch with all the esseitals about $80. budgie $100 for everything(most popular). lovebird would be about the same as the budgie. ans th cockatiel $180 (i would recomend this bird as a starter) it just depends were u get the bird from (dont buy from petstores good luck

  9. Parrots are just a type of bird, there are literally hundreds of species of parrots. Technically Budgies (parakeets), Cockatiels, Lovebirds, etc are all parrots. Then there are the next size up such as conures, Quakers, Ring Necks, etc. Then of course the larger parrots like Macaws, Cockatoos, African Greys, etc.

The price can range from $10-10,000 depending on which species you're talking about. That's just for the bird, then there's caging, toys and toys and toys upon toys, food, vet care, different perches, that will need to be paid for.

Your best bet would be to research a little more, find out what type of bird would be best for you. Larger parrots = more money and infintely more attention and care, some are like having a 3 year old around constantly.

When you decide on the species, getting it from a breeder is the best. You'll end up with a tamer, healthier, better socialized bird which will make interacting and playing much more fun.
