How much formula should i buy?

I'm registering for the many things my baby will need and I'd like so know how much formula I should register for? The quantity. It is 32Oz.

Not many at all. You don't know if your baby will be allergic to regular formula or if he/she will need to be on any sort of gentle/sensitive formula, etc.

We've gone through 3 different formulas so far and our baby is only 4 months.

I wouldn't register for formula- you don't know what your baby is going to like or need. Register for something else in its place.

I wouldn't buy a lot until you figure out which formula your baby likes.  We tried Similac Advanced, then Enfamil, before finally settling with Similac Sensitive.

dont buy alot, just one can at first. some baby's are allergic or have collic and need special formula

register for gift cards to grocery/baby supply stores as opposed to actual formula.  If you register at the formula companies websites they will send you free samples.  You don't want to be stuck with 15 cans of formula when you find out your baby is lactose intolerant and many stores will not refund formula (because some moms abuse WIC by buying formula with wic checks and then returning them for cash).

Formula companies will hunt you down with free samples, they're like crack dealers, the first ones always free, lol.

I'm breastfeeding my daughter and having signed up for anything and somehow I still get sent whole cans of formula from Similac every couple months.
