If you want the 8GB is $199 w/a 2 year contract and the 16GB is $299 as well with a 2 year contract. If you buy them w/o contract its more expensive.

Well if you go to the link below they show you all the features of the iphone 3g, maybe the greater difference about the new is its faster and it has GPS.... But go to the link, there is a lot of info there.

I really couldn't tell you if the old or new one is better, cause I am asking the same thing, I'm between buying an iphone 3g or a blackberry

I got the 16 GB iphone, and it was $300, plus an additional $30 on top of my existing wireless plan.

I have the new one, and I love it!  So far, it has totally lived up to the hype for me.  I use it for both work and personal stuff, and I'm very happy with it.
