How much of everything to get?

Question

How many pizzas, orders of chicken wings, sandwhiches, breadsticks should we get for 70 people?

Should we assume they'll eat about 3 pieces of each and mutiply that by 70 and figure it out that way. What if not everyone eats the pizza or the wings...etc...I guess its better to have too much than too little...

I've never thrown a party this big before. How many drinks if we get the 2 liter bottles?

Any help? I'm really am that daft/clueless...

i say that 3 to a person will be fine and this way if some people don't eat all of there stuff then there will be seconds for the people that are still hungry.As for the drinks the kids will go through that like if it was water so get plenty

Pizza is the easy one..............start with 8 pies...........that is 64 slices.......need more.get more delivered.

wings.go to cosco...get a couple of boxes.........30 per box....

breadsicks,,,,no idea..

soda.

glass 8oz...........64 oz per 2 qt/ltr..............equals 8 glases per bottle.........210 glasses div by 8 equals.25 bottles.............

throw in some chips.and pretzels.........

3 pieces of each item per person is a lot.  Is this dinner or a party with snacks/hor d vours?  I would say an average of 1 1/2 pieces of each item person, but maybe go a little higher on the wings and pizza.

You could also buy some of the prepared veggie and fruit trays that they sell at Sam's Club, WalMart, Cosco, etc.  It is always better to have too much food.

i would go with between 12 - 16 pizza's, assuming they have 8 slices each. thats 96 - 128 pieces, most people will eat at least one, and a lot will likely eat two.

for wings, i would go with an average of 2 per person, that should average out those who will eat more and those who will eat none. thats 140 wings.

i would get enough breadsticks for 1 or 2 per person.
