How much weight can I lose?

I was wondering how much weight I can lose from today until Sept. 3

I have started running for 1 hour in the morning, and I am eating healthy meaning only salads with no dressing and drinking pure water (No Sugar At All!)

I am 16 years of age, 5'6 and 200lbs, yes I'm big, I am looking for a number of how many pounds not calories or anything like that.

  1. its not healthy just to eat salad and water because you need other food groups and then dont worry about how much weight you can lose by a certain point just try and have a healthy lifestyle and you will start to become more fit.

If you have just started excising, drinking water and watching your diet, then you can probably lose 5-7 pounds between now and Sept.3.  However, all that weight is mostly water weight and it is the easiest weight to lose.  After that comes the hard part.  You can't survive on salad and water alone.  You'll have to learn how to incorporate healthy foods into your diet, so you're not "dieting" but rather living a healthy lifestyle.  This also means NO fast food.Just to give you some encouragement, I was 209 lbs. and lost 30 lbs in 6 months the simple "eat healthy and exercise" way.  Goal to lose 1% of your weight each week-week and a half.  This will lead to long term weight loss, which is the ultimate goal, right?    Good Luck!
