How much will a shotgun be?

I am 15 and i have just applied for my license... i was wondering... how much could i get a second-hand over and under 12-bore shotgun for? idealy i would like to spend £300ish?

I got a Yildiz here in Australia for under $1k which converts to about 300 pounds.

I got the Yildiz because I didn't want to spend $3000 on a beretta and knock it around in the bush chasing Kangaroo.

Go to your local dealer and explain what your trying to do (trap phesant, general game work, etc etc) and then tell how much you got to spend. You don't have to commit to anything just ask questions. Then you can go looking for the best deal around town.
