if minimum wage is $7.25 an hour how much do they take out for taxes of that should i figure.

Are you a dependent on your parents' tax return?  How much do you anticipate earning for the entire year of 2008?  That information matters a lot.

At the very least, Social Security & Medicare will come out of your check.  This comes to .55 (7.65%) out of every $7.25.  So if your worked ten hours you'd get $66.95.

But your state might take out disability.  And depending on your answers to those first two questions, Federal and State withholding tax might also come out.
