  1. Fueling planes is a big responsibility.  Most airports and airline carriers realize this.  After being trained and certified, expect $10/hr to start at small airports, $14/hr at larger ones.  After completing your probation period, you should be making anywhere from $15 - $18/hr on the average.  The longer you stay, the more they'll pay.  Don't forget, benefits such as insurance and a 401k retirement plan, are worth more than a buck or two an hour on your pay.  So if the benefits package is good, expect the wages to be a bit less.  A $16 an hour fueling job WITHOUT benefits is not as good of a deal as a $13 an hour fueling job WITH benefits.  Take the $13 an hour one, it'll be worth it if you plan to stay with the company for a while, even if you move on from being a fueler.  Your wage usually stays the same and only goes up if you promote to a different position within the company.

  2. Most places at my local airport start fullers at 12.00 per hour
