How old are my kittens?

My fiance found these abandoned kittens about a month ago and I was wondering if I could find out, how old they possibly are, they have gotten very hyper, the orange one is very affectionate and the female is just wild... But I have pictures if anyone can give me an idea!!

They also do eat canned kitten food and they have been eating dry food, but I don't like giving them dry food but my fiance likes giving it to them. Can anyone also tell what kind of cat they might be ?

  1. About the hard cat food!  Its usually good for them because it keeps their teeth clean!  Maybe you can give the cats soft food once and awhile but I would make hard food the main dish!

  2. I think Blue meant 8-12 weeks old.

They look like American mutt-cat to me. Meaning I have no idea. But they are cute as could be!

And yes the hard food is good for their teethies! My cat loves to crunch as she munches, but if you like spoiling them ever now and again soft food is a great treat! You could also get some chewy treats to give them any time they do something good or cute. (seriously you can train cats to do tricks or act cute by giving treats)

They are old enough they need to go to vet now and get checked out, maybe the vet can help you identify their lineage.

Good luck with these cute babies!

  3. it looks to me that they are about 2-3 months old. they are very cute. they look to be just domestic type house kitties. have fun with them.

    hope this helps

  4. Looks like their around 8 mos old , their very cute.

  5. They look young a few months old maybe, you could probably ask the vet how old they are, i give my cats dry food but they're your cats.#

  6. i would say between five and six months noway 8 months. please get them 'fixed' soon if not already. they look like they may have siamese or oriental cat in them but otherwise domestic short hair.

give dry food is fine but only 40g per cat per day because it is like us eating junk food everyday it doesn't clean teeth and can cause health defects later in life like urinary tract crystals. tinned meat like applaws if you budget can stretch to it is brilliant as meat is number one ingredient otherwise try and get the best you can afford and give this at each meal time biscuits once a day (i give my lot biscuits overnight as they don't go off like meat) and kitty milk every now and then but always fresh water

  7. well there quite big cats so i dont think there that young about 2 years old i would say
