How old have you been TTC?

Question

Just curious how long everyone has been trying?

Also, do you have other children? How long did it tak you to conceive that child?

Feeling a bit down about the process and wanted others experiences....

I have a 9 month old who I conceived the first month trying. We have been TTC #2 for 4 months.

I have been trying to conceive for over 3 yrs now. Still unsuccessful, even after 3 rounds of clomid. I can't wait to have a baby of my own. My mother went in to menopause at the age of 28, and I am 21 now. Good luck to you.

i have been married for 5 years we haven't prevented or really tried either but have been trying for about 14 months now... We have no children of our own yet but i'm sure it will happen in gods timing

With my daughter we ttc for about 4 months, then the next time I got pregnant the first month but unfortunately I had a miscarriage, the I waited the recommended three months and got pregnant on the first month again and again I had a miscarriage, since then I have been trying for 9 months.

well I am not ttc, now, but when I was it took 4 years with the first and 8 years with the 2nd. When I gave up on trying thats when I got pregnant both times.

I have 1 daughter who just turned 4, got pregnant first month of trying with her. We have been ttc since July of 2007. I got pregnant in August last year, lost it in September, waited 6 weeks, got pregnant right off again in November, lost it and had to wait 3 months. We've been trying ever since with no luck yet. It's very discouraging, but hopefully this is our month!!! Baby Dust!

I am going on six months now:( Af is due friday and i'm praying she doesn't show but i'm sure she will because I got the BFN this morning. I do have an 8 year old and 10 year old and we conceived right away with them so I'm not sure what is going on this time around. I am 33 and the hubby is 44 and we have both been checked and are fertile so i'm clueless. We have been baby dancing around my fertile times and charting so this month we are going to relax and try baby dancing every other day from the time af is over until the next af comes or I get my awaited BFP...good luck and stay positive!

Well, I have been TTC for about 2-3 months now. But I dont expect any results soon because I just got off birth control and I have yet to see a period!

i have 2 children and fell pregnant straight away they are 6 and 15 and I'm pregnant again nearly 7 weeks and fell pregnant straight away as well.

It will happen hun when you least expect it,i never bothered with ovulation calenders tracking temperatures i just had lots of s*x and it happened .

well I'm 36 weeks pregnant now, and it took me 6 months to get pregnant with my husband. I got pregnant in December and I had been trying to get pregnant since June. I say enjoy your self life, sometimes things happen when your not thinking about them you know?

my 1st daughter got caught straight away with my 2nd daughter took us a year and am trying for number 3 and we have been trying 4 months

21 cycles. Charting BBTs and CM for most of that time, just started a series of tests, all of which came back saying that I'm ovulating like clockwork and my hormones are perfect .... which somehow doesn't make me feel much better :) This will be my first child. I hope!

We've been TTC#1 for 18 months, the first six I wasn't ovulating so doctors consider us trying for 12.  Believe me I know the frustration of the waiting game each month...and they day AF arrives is the worst!  I usally go out to dinner with my husband, have a glass of wine with a friend or buy myself some flowers to try to take the edge off.  I'm sure it'll happen for you soon, good luck!!!

Hello and baby dust. We have been ttc for 5 months now. This will be our first. We are getting a little down with the process, but are trying to not stress about it so much this month. If I were you I think I would take comfort in knowing that I CAN get pregnant because you already have one. I am just wondering if I actually can. Good Luck!

With my first, I got pregnant within the first month also. But, with my second, it took five months. Unfortunately, that ended in miscarriage (of course, I'm not saying that will happen to you). So, my third pregnancy, it happened within 2 months of having a miscarriage.

we started ttc on july 4,2007 i found out on my b-day july 15, 2008 that i was 4wks and 5 days...this is my 1st child..

My first son, I didnt even try, it just kinda happened. Then I started trying to get pregnant again in February of this year and found out I was pregnant again a month later. I miscarried that baby in April and have now been trying since June. Good luck to you! Sending some baby dust your way!! =]

We have been trying for a year and a half. You're lucky, you already have a little one. Even though I would like to have 2 or 3 kids I would be so happy to have just one.

I have been trying for 6 months now! I know it's frustrating, but it will happen. I am 12 dpo and having weird cramping so, maybe this is my month!

No other kids yet, but it did take my best friend 8 months to conceive. It just depends on the woman I guess.

We have been trying since last August, we had a Miscarriage in May and now we are TTC again. It is agonizing waiting & testing each month, but I hope that someday it will all be worth it! Good Luck to you!

I am 29, my husband is 30.  We started trying in February 08, and just this week I found out I am pregnant.  I am about 5 weeks at this point.
