how serious is a wedge fracture and a partially crushed bone in your spine? as i found out that this is why my back is causing me so much pain on monday and i am soooo scared :(

I'm 19 and i've been told its not normal for it to happen to someone my age for no reason!! as i have not had any serious injury or been in any serious accidnets, i woke up from my appendectomy on the 2nd of feb with the WORST back pains ever imaginable and had them since!! (didn't have a single problem with my back before the op!!) but i've only just found out about the fracture and the crushed bone though :(

  1. Hi honey, I'd be very worried about what the h**l did they do to you in the operating room???

I'd get legal advice for this, since you didn't have a problem to begin with, so what did actually happen to you for this to all of a sudden begin to ache and now you have a fracture???

This is a very serious matter, and very dangerous for you, if you were to fall, or be pushed the wrong way you could become paralysed.

    Please seek Legal advice.

  2. Paralization is way too far with your condition unless your nerves was damaged caused by the crushed bone. I wonder how did you get it after your appendectomy. I have a thought that maybe, just maybe, if the anesthesia was not given right. Second thought, your immobility after the operation plus the procedure on how they transfer you from surgical bed to your admission bed..

  3. anything concerning your spine is VERY serious

please rate me, by the way:

  4. It's kinda serious. Talk to your doctor right away, as this and other serious symptoms could develop. If you have something with crushed bones in your spine, you need to immeadately tell your doctor. It's normal for you to be scared. Everyone gets scared.

  5. Very.  You could be paralyzed

  6. Serious that you could be paralyzed and scarred for the rest of your life.  Shouldn't you seek medical attention?  What have the doctors told you?

  7. Extremely, not something that you wanna hear! not much more to say about it but that is not good in any way shape or form :-(
