I don't want it tied up for more than 2 years. Now it's sat in a FirstDirect savings account, but there must be a better place for it? I don't mind taking some risks.

  2. You should invest wisely.

    Yes, there are better places.

Put £5000 into a high-yield account overseas at 12% per annum compounded annually. You will havet £6272 after 2 years, £8811  after 5 years. Feel free to email me through my profile.

  3. in my bank account lol

  4. Invest in your own abilities and don't be a leech and profit on the back of someone elses ability.  Develop a skill that you can profit from by your own hard work and initiative.

Like learn to play poker, sink or swim by your own efforts and ideas and judgement.  If you are unable to do anything youself, invest in some one worse off than you and who would greatly benefit from your affluence, like investing in an African business.  They need your support much more than a big American company.  A lot riskier but the rewards will be great and not all monetary

  5. Try Forex dealing. First do it on DEMO. See my Statement:

  6. i was talking to a guy who works for prudential mg, he told me the best small investment with a minimum investment of £1k, is in Commodities such as oil, they have shown a return of 500% +, so i think i would look into that ! as the price of oil will only go up as it becomes more scarce!

  7. A group highly professional traders have been offering our services in the field of management of financial actives in international currency market Forex.   Profitableness from 7%-11% per one month.

  8. Try to break it down into about 3 different mutual fund or CD's. any diversity beyond 3 starts to lose effectiveness.

  9. Stick it under your mattress....it will be easier to make a withdrawal... Seriously - buy £5k worth of unleaded or diesel - in 2 years - wwwwooooww... god knows how much it will be worth..
