  1. let him sit in the sun IN THE CAGE THO haha..

and make sure your their with him watching him

DONT let him air dry in the HOUSE because he will freeze to death especially if your AC is on.

how did u wash him?.. did u just put a bowl of water out for him and he got into it or?.. hmm...

  2. Don't use a microwave. The high frequency electrical energy will roast it like cooking food and it will die  Try a hair drier.

  3. if you dry with a towel chances are you may hurt the little one, and mess up the featehers.

you can turn the hair dryer on low and do it that way  but it will scare him.

it may be to hot out side and he will bake.

and dont set him in way of a air conditioner. it will make it sick

    good luck

  4. no, they can dry themselves off

  5. with a hairdryer on low speed and fairly warm.

or else just towel dry him

(don't damage feather while doing so)

although if it is VERY warm and i mean Hot then you could put him out in the sun away from droughts. . but don't let him over heat either.

why did you wash him in the first place?

  6. Cant think why you would want to wash him in the first place.  Im assuming he is still alive!?  Dont wash him!

  7. don't wash parrots or any other kind of bird, they do it themselves its called preening, washing birds knocks out all the natural oils they need in their feathers

  8. I don't know what kind of bird this is, but you shouldn't be washing him. You should let him BATHE himself. And let him air-dry.

  9. Parrots can dry themselves perfectly fine.  But if you want to dry him, you can put a hair dryer on low and dry him that way.  Make sure not to burn him by leaving the hair dryer focused in the same place.

  10. parrots should not be washed, why did you wash him ?? do not dry him he can do that for himself you could damage his feathers whilst drying so DO NOT dry him  I suggest you get advise on how to keep a parrot as a pet because if you have to ask about drying him it is obvious you need expert advise on having him as a pet.

  11. lol, i do that to my Doves.

    Just let him dry himself.

He will preen at the same time getting all the nasty things out of his feathers.

and it is good to spray them, they like it and it is good for their health, just dont do it on a cold day.

  12. lol the 1st comment hahaa

  13. they dry themselves pretty well.

just don't leave em in a cold room or anything. Birds get cold too. My birds, after they bathe, they'll either want me to wrap them in a blanket or sit near a window. It's pretty funny.

    Good Luck

  14. WHY DO YOU WASH A BIRD IN THE 1ST PLACE. PUT HIM/HER IN A SHALLOW BOWL OF WATER AND HE/SHE WILL BATH NATURALLY AS NATURE INTENDED. BIRDS AND CATS SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN BATHS BY HUMANS THEY ARE VERY CLEAN ANIMALS

  15. Microwave is a quick way!! but a messy one!! Rub it with a towel.

  16. i hope you mean you sprayed him not washed him,i used to spray ours and he loved it,then just let him sort himself out,he will??????????
