How soon can i Conceive?

Question

i started my new bc 2 months ago, and finished two packets, to help regulate my cycle...my bf and i are ready to conceieve how long can it take to get pregnant? after only being on bc for 2 months...? let me know what you think.

my last period was about 2 weeks go...so weve beein "trying" lately...

bc affects everyone differently. You stopped taking it right? How quick you get pregnant depends on how quick the bc leaves your body. You only took it for 2 months though so unless you have fertility problems it shouldnt take long to get pregnant. But it is also normal to take up to a year for 2 healthy adults to concieve.

A friend used the pill for 4 years, got pregnant within 2 months of stopping.  Other ladies I know used it for a shorter time, but took way longer to conceive.  One in particular used them for 2 years, and now has been 2 years off, but still no bfp.  So, with 2 months only, I reckon you have pretty good chances.  Apparently, as long as you have regular s*x, about 3 times a week, you have good chances.  If you're charting, the week leading up to ovulation, ovulation day, and the few days after are important for having s*x.

It could take 6 months???I went through alot! Pills,Ovulation test,watching the calendar,Taking my temp!!! I tried for 3 years!!! My friend gave me this advice and I got pregnant in 3 months after trying it the way she told me!!

Remember you ovulate 14-16 days before you start your period. The time to have s*x to get pregnant is when you are very wet,slippery,and stretchy down there,alot of women's right or left side will hurt when the egg is released. You need to have s*x atleast two or three times the week of ovulation to get preganant.*****VERY IMPORTANT! Stay laying down 30-45 minutes after s*x DO NOT GET UP AT ALL.WAIT TO PEE!!! *****It takes 30-45 minutes for the sperm to reach the egg to fertalize it.Hope this helps!!:) Good luck

I was on bc for 3yrs and got pregnant in 4 months.  Try not to stress over becoming pregnant.  Have fun trying to get pregnant and don't expect it to happen immediately.  The stress will make it harder to become pregnant so take your prenatals, relax and have fun!!

Most doctors say wait 3 months.  But we started right away.  I have heard no problems with conceiving shortly after getting off bc.  good luck to you.  people get pg after a week off bc and have perfectly health babies.

How soon can you? As soon as you ovulate.

Keep in mind that it can take your body months to regulate and it takes the average couple 6-12 months to conceive- and this is if you know when you are ovulating and have good timing and no issues with fertility.

And not getting up to pee is a dumb idea- that is a first class ticket to a UTI for a lot of women. Plus the sperm have already gotten where they need to be- it does nothing. It is simply and old wives tale.

Assuming that "after you are married" is not the answer you want to hear, I guess you can try to conceive whenever you want.
