How to Study ???

Hi , I am in 9th grade Alegbra 1 , and I need to find out the best way to study for a algebra test , I am not good at any of it , I usually makes D's or F's , I pay atention in math , please find a way to help me study.

i find it hard to study for math too, but i found a couple of ways to help. i do the chapter review near the back of the book that asks a few questions from each section. really pay attention to those and make sure you take it slow so you understand how to do the problem. memorize the equations because on the test all you really have to do is plug numbers in. review your notes and homework a few times. good luck

. Algebra? Like 9x+72 = 135?

First, make sure you know ALL the higher multiplications; like 8x7, and 6x9, etc. You GOT to know these.

Then, and only then, keep writing on paper the questions and answers so you can easily find any mistakes.

I have been teaching maths since 1999, what you have do is practicing more and more. I got 99/100 in my 12 grade. man practice makes a man perfect.  Do each step carefully. while practicing if you see your answer does not match with the correct one try to recheck all the steps again. always check your steps from top to bottom before giving it to your teacher or examiner ( when u r taking tests). There is a one easy Rule to solve algebra in the following sequence

BODMAS

BO stand for Bracket Open

D stands for Division

M stands for multiplication

A stands for Addition

S stands for Subtraction
