And how long after your recommendations, it is possible to eat what one want and don't fatten?

  1. Metabolism is tricky...you will never be at a point where you can just shovel fried greasy food down your throat and never gain a pound, unless you have always been like that (talk to my wife...rail-thin,and a lot of garbage...).

    Exercise naturally increases your metabolism though. Also, don't eat meals, eat small snacks throughout the day. Instead of 3 big meals, 5 or 6 snack sized sittings. And don't eat within 3 hours of your usual bedtime. Midnight snacks are great for killing metabolism.

    Some say that drinking a lot of water increases your metabolism, others say it can actually lead you to eat more. I drink a quite a bit of water myself, and I don't really gain weight, but we're all different.

    Mine really increased when I started doing a lot of cardio exercise. I don't mess with any pills, as I've never seen anything that doesn't have a side effect. At most, I'll drink a little extra caffeine for a boost, but never in a soda (usually a vitamin water energy, but I've heard recently that those aren't much more healthy than soda...).
