How to assemble bagpipes.?

Question

Well i just bought a set of bagpipes and i thought it would be easy to assemble......it's not.

I have looked on the internet for instructions on how to assemble and play them but i can not find any. I can read music and know the positions to get the notes its just that i dont know how the bagpipe is put together and played.

Please tell me or link a website with instructions on how to play and assemble bagpibes.

You can't teach yourself how to play the pipes. You need an instructor.  The fact that you can't get them assembled as established that fact.   Andrew Lenz's site has a lot of information for the beginner and should be of some help.  Get an instructor !

I'd highly recommend finding an instructor. Bagpipes, even for experienced wind musicians, is not a "teach yourself" instrument. They can be difficult to tune and play even after years of experience. If you are serious, seek out a teacher. If you want to torture people, try to teach yourself.
