  1. With a good team. If it's only you who needs practice then ask for help.

  2. There are a few volleyball techniques you need to know...

    The "kill"

This is a famous jumping move. Jump in the air, strike the ball with an open fist in the center of the ball, and move your body in the direction where you want the ball to drop.

    The "dig"

Make sure that you strike with both hands in a fist at the center of the ball, and then angle your body in the direction you want that ball to go.

    The "counter" from the "kill"

Make sure you anticipate strongly where your opponent is aiming the ball for the kill. You may need to bend your knees because the trajectory of the ball will go at an angle to the ground, and strike the ball with both hands in a fist.

    The "over the head" strike

This is a common passing technique in volleyball, almost like passing in basketball.

Make sure you have a picture of where the net is. Then, with your back facing the net, hit the ball with both hands in a fist enough to either pass that ball to a teammate, or to pass the ball just over the net (which will usually result in the ball passing over your head).  Just before striking, make sure you look very quickly at the net so you will know your trajectory before

    striking.

    Hope all of this helps.
