When playing rugby? Well, I play for our school team, and we're always told to do a couple of things:

1. Always thank the ref at the end, even if he's rubbish.

2. Don't yell when you charge down a conversion.

3. If the other side are hurling abuse, don't retaliate.

4. Shake the other team's hands at the end.

Stuff like that. :)

While playing Rugby? Excellent question. I'm not sure that it can be done. Rugby isn't gentle.

On the other hand, it is possible to have class and play in a sportsmanlike manner and still leave it all on the field.
