    There are 250,000 active APA pool players in the United States and Canada and now Japan. That makes it a genuine International organization.

    The league operator in your area will be more than glad to help you out.


  2. Call your local pool hall and see if they have a house pro that  gives lessons. If not then call your nearest BCA pool league operator and ask about lessons from a BCA certified instructor. There are other pool schools and teachers but these are the best places to start. No diploma needed.

  3. Start by learning the fundamentals. Get on the table and practice what you learn.

    There are many books on how to play billiards, but the knowledg alone won't get you there. Practice on the table is what it will take.

    No special diploma.

    Start with the fundamentals and learn it right the first time.
