How to become a singer?

My little sister is 12, and her dream is to sing. I want to help her...where should she start?

ok, not to sound like a jerk, or an ***, but just sing ALL the time. the singer for my band used to really suck, but hes been singing allt he time, like 24/7, and he sounds a lot better then a couple months ago. so just sing a lot, and many different styles.

Get her involved in loads of singing activities and talent shows locally, then move on to auditions for popular shows in the theatre, a musical school eg The Royalty School of Music but the tuition fees are quite expensive, eventually audition for major talent shows like britians got talent or X-Factor when shes old enough
