How to change folder permissions?

Question

I created a shared folder on our server, and assigned other users read/write/full control access. However, they are unable to edit or create new files to the folder.

Can you help me solve this? Thank you.

i think u have 2refresh ur network connection....

Depending on how the permissions were set up, the user(s) may have to log on and off the network before the settings take affect.

This is on a Windows domain I assume? and did you assign NTFS or share permissions?  Set share permissions to everyone full control and set security with your NTFS permissions.
