  1. The best way to wash hard wood floors iswith a clothes ,hot watwe and vinegar and on the knees.  If the floor is too large for that, make sure to dry the floor after mopping. Do a bit at a time.wash abit then dry it then continue on washing in this manner.  Hope that will help you. Main thing to remember is to sdry the floor well.

  2. I use Murphy's Oil Soap and it works just fine.  I also use it on my $2500 acoustic guitar.

  3. I use the orange glow for hardwoods, you just spray on with the spray bottle and wipe with a damp mop.

PS....Murphys oil soap is good for washing cars also.  Its the only thing I use on mine.

  4. Vinegar!!!! No No use warm water a mop and some Murphy's oil soap (made for wood)

  5. Use Murphy's Oil Soap. You can get it at Wal-Mart or Home Depot. It has conditioners in it so you won't ruin your floors. It will also help clean up old wax that might still be on the floor. I would get 2 bottles to be on the safe side. It will take some elbow grease but your floors will look clean and shiny.
