How to control termites?

I have a termite problem in my house. What can I buy at the Home Depot to exterminate them?

This is not a do-it-yourself project.  An expert needs to determine what damage, if any, has been done to the structure of the house.  Then the termites need to be killed and any wood-to-ground contact situations have to be addressed.

Actually the local stores do NOT sell anything strong enough to control termites. You can only get the strong stuff if you have a license to apply poisons for pest control. Just call around to see who will give you the best deal as far as price and warranty. Pick someone who has been around for a while...or at least will be there 3 years from now, if you need them again.

After they have been killed you can buy those termite bait stakes and use them...but don't waste your money on them if you are already infested.

The treatment needs to go down under your house...if it has a slab foundation they will need to drill holes to pump the poison under there.

because u dont know if there are more then just in

one spot ..
