  1. ask someone in the correct category-----this category is sports!!!!!!!!-----snooker and pool !!!!!!!!!!!!!!--not swimming pools!!!!!!!!!!

  2. You can do it but it isn't easy. Most pool stores that carry baquicil will also carry a baquicil remover but usually most people will shock the pool with liquid chlorine. Yes I know that this will turn the water brown but that is just the chlorine that is eating up the baquicil. You may need to use a flocculant if you are using a sand filter. This will help the smaller particles to stick together so that they can be effectively vacuumed or filtered out of your pool. I don't blame you for switching back to chlorine. Baquicil is a real pain to work with and is fairly expensive to use. Call a reputable pool supply store and they should be able to give you the proper procedures for removing the baquicil.
