How to cure recurring bacteria vaginosis?

In March I was given some metrionizole, which I didn't finish as I was feeling nauseus, so other things were given to me, the meds were in an Asian language so I don 't know what they were (except the metrionizole. There was a chance I was preg then so treatments were delayed. Anyway, I had a treatment of metrinozole with 4-5 tablets that you take all at once, which I did take and tolerated, but the BV smell is back. I'm done with using lemon juice and vinegar, so now I'm taking the original metrionozole I was prescribed and going back to a doctor in the "West" to get it sorted in a couple of days.

I think I just need a stronger and longer dose as I'm about 110 kilos. I read on the internet that if the original dose didn't work to take it over 7 days with 2 doses of 500 mg .

What do you suggest?

  1. I suggest you stop using lemon and vinegar.  When you douche (it doesnt matter which product you use), it disrupts the normal pH of the v****a and allows for bacteria to flourish.  You will need to confirm that it is bacterial vaginosis and then be prescribed antibiotics.  Otherwise, there isn't much that you can do without the aid of a doctor.

  2. You screwed yourself when you decided you didnt want to talk all of your antibiotics.  This is how drug resistant bacteria come to be.

You will probably need a different med now.  You exposed the bacteria to this med, but didnt take it long enough to kill it, so it has likely 'adapted'.

Quit self diagnosing yourself and self medicated.  Go to the doc and take your meds exactly as directed.

If your med makes you nauseated, you need to eat something with it such as a light meal or a slice of bread or crackers or a glass of milk.

And never take meds that you dont know what are.  If you couldnt read the label or ascertain in any way what they are, dont take them!!
