How to delete adress?

How do you deletea web adress in aadress bar please help.

It varys slightly depending on what browser you use.  But for the most part you want to delete your history, which you can do by going to TOOLS in your menu bar and then selecting INTERNET OPTIONS.  For Vista click the delete button in the browsing history section.  For XP you want to click on temporary internet files then click delete history.

If you are looking to wipe your tracks I suggest also deleting your cookies and form data.
