How to delete history?

i know how to delete history from websites on the internet but i've heard it stays on the hard drive until you clear it off there so is there anyone who can tell me how to delete my history completely so no one can see it

Go to tools, internet options and click where itsays delete history

If you're using Internet Explorer, right click the area where tool bars would be and select Menu Bar. Then click on Tools and select Delete Browsing History. Press Delete History which will, like it suggests deletes your history or Delete All which will delete all history,saved passwords, etc. on the websites you've visited.

If you're using Mozilla Firefox then select Tools and Clear Private Data, from there you can choose what you want to delete.

oh oh sounds like someone was doing some naughty searches on yahoo. Don't worry it happens to all of us. There should be a option under your internet icon when you bring it up that says "reset netscape". If there isn't then I don't know what to tell ya.
