How to determine converse sizing?

Question

I normally am a womens size 9 shoe, but I heard converse sizing runs large. On the website, it is suggested to order two sizes down from normal size for the correct converse size. According to the website, I should be ordering a size seven. This doesn't sound quite right, so I'm asking if it is before I place an order.

I would assume somebody whose ordered them online before would know =)

Two sizes sounds okay.

I have mine in size 9 and I usually wear 11. And sometimes even 11 doesn't fit me.

But I've had a pair in size 10 too.. it wasn't too big on me.. so just incase you could get them in size 8.. you wouldn't want them to be too small..

well i've ordered them online and in stores. converse sizes run in men's sizes.  if you are a size 9 then you will be a size 7 in converse.  it's true whatever size shoe you wear you have to order two sizes smaller.  they do fit trust me.

they are right because i wear a 8 in womens and i get a 6 in chucks

The thing about converse sizes, is that it shows its "converse size" as men's sizes. I'm normally a 9.5, but I fit into a 9. I suggest you to go a half size smaller, because when I tried on the 9.5, it was literallly falling off. Just go for the women's size, which is supposedly 2 sizes higher than a guys. So if a guy's is 7, a woman would be 9. Good luck.

I wear an 7 in mens. but my feet are like a 9 but fit into some 8s. I know i can fit into a size 6 (womans 8). it's tight in the top at first, but they break in .

Converses size are 2 sizes difference between men and women

So if you're a 9 in womens you're a 7 in mens.

in all converses, whatever you are in womens, you're 2 sizes smaller in mens :D

i usually wear a size 10, and i have a 9 i think. i would either order your normal size or just 1 size smaller

i just bought some actually but in store. i use a size like 7.5 in shoes and i bought some 7.5 converse. they were a bit big but not so big that they come off just loose enough so i can take them off without untying them.

Converse run in men sizes, so it'd be two sizes less than women's. You are a size 7 in Converse.

yup, thats right because I have like 4 pairs of cons and I wear a size 9 or 8 1/2 around there and I wear a 6 1/2 and 7 in converse
