  1. all my products are from maybelline. go to a drugstore youll find most things there or of course a makeup store.

use foundation. then blush, mascara, and lip gloss and thats it. im chinese and using black eyeliner wont make you look emo. if you think you look emo use brown.

  2. Well just get some concelor. Maybe a small amount of blush. And some brown mascara.

  3. Even out the skin tone with a light foundation or tinted moisturizer.  Bite your lip and find that color in either a lip stick or a lip tint.  Make sure you wipe off the lipstick after you apply it to keep the look colored but natural.  (Try Covergirl lip stick.)  Find a pinky blush, I like Mary Kay brand.  Swipe on one coat of Mascara, such as Covergirl waterproof in either black or black brown.

  4. The best way to look natural is to use skin care products and makeup that are mineral based. Physicians Formula is a very good brand that you can buy at almost any large pharmacy, Wal-Mart or Target store. So are Rimmel, Neutrogena, and Almay, two of which make all types of hypoallergenic formulas. This is especially important if you worry about facial breakouts. Start with a freshly cleansed and toned face and a light application of sunscreen, followed up with moisturizer and then foundation. All of these items should soak right in and leave you with soft, smooth skin. If your skin turns out oily after cleasing, toning and applying moisturizer, it is because you have either applied too much moisturizer or you are using the wrong formula for your skin type.

If you use foundation base, try using a whipped cream type of base or a mousse makeup by dotting your face with makeup and blending it in with a damp sponge. That keeps your makeup from looking "caked-on" and it looks natural. Rimmel of London makes a very nice, light mousse base foundation that you might want to try, but the brand is not hypoallergenic, so there is no guarantee that it won't cause a rash or blemishes. There is also a powder makeup that you can use by Almay for your skin type with a matching pressed powder. As long as you dot on foundation, blend it in with a damp sponge and use a clean makeup brush for powdered blush, remembering to tap off the excess powder, you will still look natural. Almay also makes types of makeup that are tailored to help bring out the best colors in your eyes. It tells you what brands and colors of foundation, powder, blush, eye shadow, liner and  mascara are the best for your skin and eye color.

Make sure you wash your face with a really good makeup remover every night (I like Neutrogena's or Purpose's line of skin care products because they are all hypoallergenic and gentle), which makes just one thing less that I have to worry about. Purpose makes a cleanser and moisture lotion, Almay also makes a really good toner to go with their skin care, and Neutrogena makes all types of skin care products, as well as makeup products, that will not irritate or break your face out.

I think considering that you are Chinese, you may want to try using an Almay or Physicians Formula eye liner pencil in a medium brownish shade. Start by pulling the end of each eye back with your first finger and very slowly and thinly draw a line from the back of your eye to halfway across the middle of your eye. If you carry the line to the tear duct, it is very likely to make your eyes look smaller or cause eye irritation. Carrying the line to the middle of your eye will open your eyes and the less you use is better, right? Then use some Almay (I use the waterproof) brown mascara on your eye lashes. Let your mascara dry about 5 minutes, then curl your lashes again, pumping them one or two more times with the eyelash curler.

Follow-up with some peach our mauve colored blush dotting the blush on the apples of your cheeks and pulling it upward across your cheekbones to blend into your hairline. You don't need much blush -- lightly swipe on some powder blush in one

swoop, or if you really want it to stay all day, use a gel blush that you lightly dot on with your fingers and blend it in with very

light strokes of a damp makeup sponge. Cosmetic wedges are great for this kind of work because you use one for your base and another for your blush. You can finish off by picking a nude or natural colored lip pencil and outlining your mouth, followed by an application of a nude or slightly peachy or cafe

colored lip stick. Use a dab of Vaseline or gloss right in the middle of your lips and then lightly touch your lips together a couple of times for a gorgeous finish!

Whether or not you choose to wear eye shadow or not is totally up to you. I like dark plums and browns mixed with light pink on the eye lid, followed by a layer of soft pink or beige about 2/3 of the way up your eyes and finished off with a soft layer of white or very light gold directly underneath your brows.

This combinations looks good on almost everyone.

Always remember that the colors need to be soft and not screaming at you. The colors that best suit your eyes will be posted in the eye makeup section of the Almay display. You will not look emo if you stay away from black or dark makeup around your eyes and lips. Red lipstick is great to wear at night, but try to keep it muted down by alternating it with lighter colors to keep it from screaming at you. Red lipstick with black hair can be very s**y and appealing if you leave it for night time wear and it doesn't look emo at all!! I usually do my eye makeup right after I put on my makeup base. That way

if you mess up, you can correct it as you go along and not have to start all over reapplying your foundation and then reapplying your powder. You can also purchase Physician's Formula concealers in different colors. They make theirs in light blue, green, yellow and light, medium and dark skin tones. Each is designed to correct issues like bruises, red spots, swelling, redness, or dark eye circles. You just have to read the back to see which color does what. These are truly wonderful for hiding small imperfections!

I would recommend that if you decide to enhance your beauty with a little bit of makeup, that you invest in the following basic

    and essential items.

A set of good makeup brushes

    Spongy makeup wedges

    Makeup remover

    Q-Tips

    Vaseline

    Cotton Balls

    Skin care products

Always remember to use a light touch when applying makeup and never stretch your skin in a downward position. Always use upward motions to help prevent premature wrinkles. Do not share eye makeup with people because the product can get contaminated easily and you may not realize it until you have a problem. And always remember to use a really good sunscreen every time you leave the house. This helps protect your skin from the sun's UVB and UVA rays that cause all  skin to prematurely wrinkle and look like leather, regardless of your skin color!!

Well, I hope I've been of some help to you and I wish you the best of luck! This may sound like a lot but you will have the routine down to 10 minutes in no time at all!! If this is really too much, just use the products you are comfortable with such as a mineral powder, eye liner, mascara and lipstick.    ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚˜Âº

  5. So I agree with the other girls, just even your skin tone with a concealer stick and powder. I use Covergirl concealer and N.Y.C translucent powder. (I recommend N.Y.C. powder to most. All it does is create a flawless look. It doesn't add any color or anything to your face. Seriously it's magical.) That's the biggest thing. Then get an eyelash curler. Curl the lashes with three pumps of squeezing it on your lashes. Then get mascara in black..I can't remember the brand of mine but just look for volume or lengthening or volume + lengthening, depending on what you want. Then get a bronzer. The brand doesn't really matter, just make sure it's not too dark. Medium bronze. Apply the SLIGHTEST amount to your cheek bones, from the apples of your cheeks up towards your hairline. Do not go overboard. We are trying to keep it natural. Then a clear balm on your lips and you'll be good to go. Oh and putting black eyeliner on won't make you look emo but just keep it to a thin line if you are going to put it on. A thick line will be too much, but usually it you get to the roots of your eyelashes, mascara can often portray the look of eyeliner at the same time. =] Good luck!

So after I wrote this I was answering more questions and I came across this girl who really knows how to do makeup. She does it like I do mine but hers is video taped which is wayy easier than trying to explain it. Here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rj_r-xoTj...
