How to download application icons?

i'm currently doing auditing software and i want to download cute icons for my software.its hard to find the web which have single icons..

Try going to deviantart.com!

Go into the section:

Customization > Icons > OS Icons > Windows.

make sure that the file you get has a .ico extension, and save your icon somewhere that it won't be deleted for a while.

Then, if you want to change your icon manually:

right click on the main file for your program, go down and click "properties".

switch to the customize tab, click "change  icon", and then browse for the .ICO file you saved.
