  2. Okay this is going to be a really really LONG answer; so please bare with me.

You can use Windows Movie Maker to do all of this. This programe is free with all windows operation systems or it can be downloaded for free from http://www.download.com.

    --------------------------------------...

    (A) ADDING PICUTES TO A VIDEO

    1. Open Windows Movie Maker, and select the "Import Pictures" link on the left side.

    2. You will now be prompted to select an image from a folder on your computer. Images can be downloaded from Yahoo / Google.

    3. The picture will now be displayed in the Collections area. If you want more pictures just repeat step 2.

    4. You will need to drag & drop the picture(s) into the timeline storyboard at the bottom of the screen into the video section.

    5. To add music to your slide show, select the "Import Audio or Music" link on the left. You will be prompted to select music from a folder in your computer.

    6. The music will now appear in the Collections area. It will need to be drag & dropped directly under the pictures in the timeline storyboard.

    7. The music can be stretched or trimmed to fit the length of the slideshow, with the use of your mouse.

    (B) ADDING TEXT TO A VIDEO

    1. Open Windows Movie Maker

    2. Go to Edit Movie at the side and select the link "Make Titles Or Credits"

    3. Select "Title at the Beginning of the Movie"

    4. For the most commonly used text video; select the link "Change the Title Animation" and select  "Transparent Overlapping

Tiles", which is located under the heading "Tiles, Two Lines"

    5. Click on the "Edit the Title Text", link. Enter a heading at the top and then your main message on the bottom.

Please note each page will only allow you a maximum amount of text and you may have to continue your message on several different pages, in which case this will have to be repeated a few times as separate clips.

    6. Now click on "Change the Text Font and Colour" link. It is recommended that you choose colour schemas that stand out. For example a black background with bright green would be a very good choice.

Select the Font icon, under the word colour and select a very bright green. This will change the colour of the text

    7. To change the colour of the background, click on the square shaped icon beside it and select black. This will change the colour of the background.

8 The size may also be changed, this will make your message appear more presentable and will also extend the amount of text displayed on each clip.

    9. When finished, select the; "Done, Add Title To Movie" link. The clip will automatically appear in the timeline.

    10. To create the second text clip; Go to Edit Movie at the side and select the link "Make Titles Or Credits". But this time select "Title after the selected clip" and repeat steps 3-9

    2. Select a piece of music from your computer. This will be transferred to the Collections Screen, in the middle.

    3. Drag and Drop the music under the clips of your movie.

    4. You might want to condense the length of the music to fit the video clips. You can to this by dragging on the side to the audio clip with your mouse and match the length up with the video clips.
