How to entertain them?

how to entertain 2 kids that are 2 and 8 in their house (not mine) for long enough for thier parents to eat out?

Lay down a big piece of paper & put down a bunch of crayon. If there's an empty box they can decorate it as well

Play twisters...or hide and seek or a treasure hunt? Kids are great in physical activities and bore less quickly.

i would let them draw, watch a short kids movie (like barbie or something disney) i would play "pretend" with them, they would probably like to do that alot at that age. i would also try hide-and-go-seek, tag (if outside) and things like that. i wouldn't try a board game, though, you dont want them bored. i would also let them give you some suggestions, they might have some ideas of their own. good luck and have fun!
