How to fix my rode nt1a

Question

i recently dropped my rode nt1s, the protective casing has come off leaving an exposed diaphagm. There is a red wire that seems like it should be attached, but have pushed it through the hole, and hasnt solved the problem. Do i need to solder the red wire to the metal attachment??
