How to get Electrician to troubleshoot?

Why is it so hard to get a Electrician to come troubleshoot? When I say Electronic Air Cleaner, they run. New Air Cleaner, nothing wrong with it. Electrical doesn't get the neutral and ground to it.I can't get anybody to come help me. WHY?? Paperwork says HAS to have neutral and ground to do the second stage, it doesn't get it.

call an HVAC service company , good luck trying to get an electrician to work on an electrical problem unless it's your typical  house wiring for switches and such  , most run when it comes to controls  .

Well since you already know what the problem is.Why would an electrician want to bother? You say its missing the neu.(white)&gnd(green or bare) just check at the breaker box to see if they have come loose.If ok there then follow the wire from the air cleaner and check at each box it runs through for an open.

If the problem is in your outlet- then do mention the air cleaner. if the problem is in the air cleaner- then take it to a shop.

Call whoever installed the unit. I suspect it is a dedicated circuit that has a loose connection. It could be in the power panel or a connection box. It is the white wire that is faulty.
