  1. I think you should get a agent first.

  2. First take trainning from professional institue for acting. During your training you will learn how and through whom you will be safe to enter in this business and can get some people around  you.

  3. Find a common and trustworthy agency, research it so you know it has credibility and won't waste your money.

You need to start of small to end up getting big.  I'm your age and I've been with an agency for just over a year and have been an extra on Neighbours (a popular Australian show) at least 6 times and have been a extra on a show on the ABC a couple of times.

The most important thing to do is to not think that by having an agent that means you will be big over night, it'll take some time.

    Hope that helps!
