How to get recon armor?

i want to get recon armor in halo 3 but it seems impossible I've heard that only employers can get it and that you have to beat the whole game of campaign on legendary with all skulls turned on without dying and you need all the achievements.

Every Bungie employee does have it, but that doesn't mean other people can't.

Bungie employees give out Recon to people in the gaming community that have done something they deem worthy of getting Recon for.

If you are an influential gamer that has done something helpful or good in the community you can get it, if you've done something cool that Bungie really liked, you can get it.

It's like the first guy that got killed by a Pylon won Recon.

You can win Recon at different Events if Bungie is there and has said that they will be giving out Recon at that specific event.

There are many different ways to get it, but it's also very tough.

You can't get it for beating the Campaign or anything like you said there.

Don't ever ask for it is the one rule that Bungie has always stated. If you ask Bungie for it, you will never get it. So keep being a good clean player, try making cool screenshots or videos to be put on Bungie favorites.

It is very unlikely that just a random Halo player will get it. You must do something special.
