  1. I have stuck a toothpick in all the way.  Backed it out slightly then broke it off.  This will usually leave a few small splinters sticking out of the key area.  Then push it back in.  The backing it out portion helps to ensure you can't get hold of it with good fingernails or something.

If the key can't go in it won't function.  Probably one of the easier things to get out but also one of the easiest and quickest to put in.

  2. stick a tooth pick in it then break it off and crazy glue it.

...umm, not that i've done it before. So, who did you dirty?

  3. Any lock can be cut off. Why bother with the lock? You're going to have to get rid of the evidence or turn yourself in.

  4. gum, tile sealant, silicone, anything

  5. Force a key into firmly, then snap it off.

  6. just use some sort of apoxy or glue.  Anything that will harden up nicely and wont be easy for anyone to scrape out

  7. superglue
