How to kill mold from wall?

the wall trim right outside my shower has a mold stain on it. this is a brand new house and we've lived in it only 6 mths, however, water splashed outside the shower stall and ended up on the wall trim. how do i remove it? should i remove the trim or should i treat it with something?

Use a dilute solution of bleach. 10:1 ratio of water to bleach.  If you need more bleach you can always add it but I don't thin you will.

Apply it with a rag/sponge.  The mold should wipe right off.
