  1. I had the same problem even if I am younger than you but I reconnected by trying to regain what I had loved when I was younger and learn to love that thing again.

  2. Life gets busy, many distractions and activities and demands.

Slow down.  Spend some time with yourself.  I find a pad of paper helps me to structure my thinking.   Write down things like, What words describe me?  My strengths? My weakness?  When and when doing what activity am I happiest?  What do I like? What do I  not like? Colors, foods, clothes, people.  Things like that.  Take your time, live over a period of weeks or months. Work on your list.  Think about it.  There's no rush.

Go to this website and take the time-proven, free personality test.

    http://kts2.personalityzone.com/user/reg...

Once you've taken the test and have your 4-letter personality/temperament designator, go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myers-brigg...  and scroll down to the paragraph titled: "Type dynamics and development" and look to the right at the rectangle titled "The Sixteen Types" and find your four-letter type and click on it, and read about yourself!  If you answered the questions on the test honestly and accurately, you'll be amazed at how well you're described!

You can also try to relate your lists with this temperament designator.

I took this test like 20-25 years ago.  And it has proven very accurate and helpful.  I knew I was different, but then I found out it was ok!

  3. Make a list of the attributes of the person you were and want to go back to and put it on your mirror to refer to every day.  Adolescense can be difficult - hormones, rebellion, punky peer pressure, etc - stay true to your values and you'll be fine.
