How to make a foam pit?

alrite so i was thinking about making a foam pit to jump a bmx bike into just for fun. i was thinking about going around to find old couches or matresses that people are throwing out and just get the foam from there.

can somebody give me an idea of how to build a foam pit please?

You first need a big enclosure, wood? metal?  whatever you want.  then cut up the foam pieces into blocks about a foot  high, wide and deep.

Why not just jump the bike into a swimming pool? Find a friend at school who has an in-ground swimming pool.

You could also jump the bike off a dock into the water. We used to jump a bike off the dock. The trick is to tie a piece of rope, about 75 feet long, one end to the bike and the other end to the dock. So you can pull the bike out after the jump.

(It's too hard to swim carrying a 35 pound bike, you'll sink).
