The key to great coffee is to grind it just before brewing- a grinder is cheap, my Krups grinder is 10 years old, but cost about 10 bucks. Coffee quality is important, but I am an addict and I love 8"oclock brand- which is really cheap, but really good.  Grind your coffee, use cold fresh water, and follow the directions for your pot. You will notice the difference from old ground coffee. Enjoy!

I dont actually drink coffee but I do make it a lot. If you have milk with your coffee you should put the milk in first and stir the coffee and sugar into the milk, then add the water. Apparently it tastes better that way.
