How to make homemade smoke bombs ???!!?

hi.. im trying to make smoke bombs for my little brother cuz he luvs ninja stuff... i am careful with him but i jsut wanna show him how it works..... now my problem is that i dont know how to make one... plz wen answering keep in mind:

-im only a teenager and my brother is only 10 so i might need a BIG smoke screen

-i cnt get chemicals.. iv alredy read the ping pong ball theory.. but i cud not see images.... and i cant get chemicals like postasium nitrate (KNO3) plzzzz hes driving me crazy :)

Potassium Nitrate (Kn03) can be found in most garden shops. It goes under the name of "Salt Peter" be care full though as if you mes the smoke bomb up it can explode and you don't want to kill you and your brother do you? Also, if your buying mass quantities of Potassium Nitrate the cops may pay you a visit like I said before, it can expload. Its also an offence to make,distribute or use Smokebombs,explosives or projectiles. You may be done under the Terrorism or Disturbing the peace.
