  1. 1/2 pound lean ground beef

    1/4 cup chopped

    pinch ground hot pepper

1 teaspoon dried leaf basil, crumbled

1/2 teaspoon dried leaf oregano, crumbled

    2 1/2 cups water

1 1/2 cups marinara sauce or your favorite spaghetti sauce

12 ounces spaghetti, broken in half

    freshly ground black pepper

    1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    Preparation:

In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, combine the ground beef, onion, cayenne pepper, basil, and oregano. Cook, stirring to break up meat, until browned, about 5 minutes. Drain off any excess grease.

Add 2 1/2 cups water, the spaghetti sauce, and spaghetti; bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Cover, reduce heat to low, and cook, stirring frequently, until the spaghetti is just tender and most of the liquid is absorbed, about 15 minutes.

Turn off the heat and let pan stand, covered, 5 minutes. Season with pepper to taste and serve sprinkled with the cheese.

  2. Since I'm not sure what you have on hand..... here are a few variations...........

    EASY SPAGHETTI....

    INGREDIENTS...........

    1/2 pound ground beef

    1 small onion, chopped

2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce

    1 1/2 cups water

    1 1/2 teaspoons salt

    1 teaspoon dried parsley

    1/2 pinch dried basil

    1/2 teaspoon black pepper

    4 ounces uncooked spaghetti

    DIRECTIONS

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the onion until all pink is gone; drain.

Stir in tomato sauce, water, salt, parsley, basil and pepper; mix well. Heat until sauce boils. Break spaghetti in half and drop into sauce a little at a time. Cover and turn to low.

Cook until spaghetti is tender, approximately 20 to 25 minutes. Stir occasionally to keep from sticking to pan and from noodles sticking together. Add water, 1/2 to 1 cup, if it starts to dry out and noodles are not cooked.

    SIMPLE SPAGHETTI

    INGREDIENTS............

    1 pound spaghetti

    2 pounds lean ground beef

    1 onion, minced

1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste

2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed tomato soup

    2 1/2 cups water

    DIRECTIONS

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with onion until meat is brown. Drain. Return meat mixture to pan with tomato paste, tomato soup and water. Cook, stirring, until heated through and thickened, 5 to 15 minutes. Serve over cooked pasta.

    Good Eating..........    :)

  3. Spaghetti Pizza

    Ingredients:

1 (8 ounce) package spaghetti, broken into 2-inch pieces

    1 egg

    1/4 cup milk

    2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

1 (16 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce

    1 teaspoon dried oregano

    1/4 teaspoon dried basil

    4 ounces pepperoni sausage, sliced

    DIRECTIONS

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until done; drain and cool.

Beat egg in large bowl, add milk, 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese, salt and garlic salt. Stir in cooked spaghetti, mix well.

Spread mixture evenly in greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and reduce temperature to 350 degrees. Spread sauce over spaghetti. Sprinkle with oregano, basil and the remaining 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese. Top with pepperoni, return to oven and bake for 30 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.

  4. cook the ground beef, and while doing that put the spaghetti noodles on the stove to let them boil, then after you cook the ground beef (make sure its brown)  drain the meet then put it back in a boiler, then put the spaghetti sauce on there and make that hot, and then you have spaghetti

  5. Spaghetti is one of the easiest things to cook. Boil a pot of water. Once the water is bubbling, add in some spaghetti. If it's a small pot, you may want to break the spaghetti in half.

Heat up some marinara sauce in a separate pot. After the spaghetti has been boiling for 10-12 minutes, then you can take it off the burner and drain out the water. Mix the sauce and spaghetti in a bowl, add a little parmesan cheese, and enjoy!

  6. fill a bot with water ( always lots of water for spaghetti) after it boils add salt then add you spaghetti.

you have to stir every couple of minutes so it does not stick together

leave it for about 12 minutes or take a little bit in a plate and try then u can tell.

after it is done rinse and keep it a side

put your favorite tomato sauce (or any other kind) in another bot on the stove with some oil or butter, salt and pepper and 1/3 cup of water and simmer for about 5 minutes

mix the sauce with the spaghetti and sprinkle cheese on the top if you would like you can also add any kind of meet or tuna to your dish

    hope you like it

  7. Set a pot on the stove and heat the water to boiling.  Take a fistful of spaghetti and slide it into the water. You'll have to keep pushing the spaghetti in as it softens.  Boil for 8 minutes, checking at 6 minutes for doneness.  My rule of thumb of cooked spaghetti is that if you break the cooked noodle and look in the center, if you see a bit of white hard center, it needs to be cooked further.

Heat pasta sauce in the microwave and pour over the top. I put pre-made meatballs in mine, which can be tossed frozen into the sauce when you microwave the sauce.  Be sure to cover the microwave pot, or you'll have a mess!

    Enjoy!
