How to open a dance studio??

My colleagues and I have been dancing for more than 10 years now and we would like to open a dance studio focusing on chinese dance. Approximately how much do we need to start the studio? We're based in the Philippines.

Well, you first need to find a place for rent or sale.  Mirrors, barres, and a dance floor should be installed.  I would also start advertising it everywhere - your local stores, the newspaper, friends, word-of-mouth, etc.  Advertising is key, otherwise you'll end up with only 3 students in a class (at my former school, that was a big issue.  There were only 2 other girls in my class.)  If you and your colleagues are going to do this together, you should all pool your money (all give equal amounts to avoid future problems like "Hey, I paid more than you so you owe me and have to do this")  It should be a lot easier if more than one is going to do this together.  Good luck!
